Users who are looking for creative roommates can post listings in the Community section. This section makes it easier to find like-minded peers to share or start a workspace. All users will have a profile with information about themselves and images of their work to give a brief idea of what they are about before meeting in person.
We want to make it easier for creative folks to find each other so they can collaborate on new projects together. In the Collaborate section, users can upload new project concepts so that other users can apply to join the project, or share their own ideas that relate to the project.
Artists tend to waste a lot of materials along the creative journey. The Co-op section solves this problem by making sure things do not go to waste. Here users can list items to sell or give away that they no longer need. This could be anything from an old camera to a box of paints from that one painting class in college.
The design phase has been completed! All of the ideas have been hashed out and the site is ready to launch any day now. But we have one major step holding us back and that is where you, the community, comes in. We are planning to launch a store that has prints donated from some amazing designers/illustrators
that can be purchased.
The money raised from selling the prints will go
towards building the site. Our goal that we have to reach is $28,000. If this goal is not met, all purchases will of course be refunded.
If the project succeeds its goal, we will be able to hire a team of programmers to help develope the intense back end coding needed to make the site functional. Since the site will be be free to users we need your help with funds to make it all possible.
