Product was just as described, and functioned as it needed to. However, what really took me by surprise was that I paid for USPS shipping, and Midwest Growers, for whatever reason, expedited it through FedEx. I live pretty close, so my stuff came in like 2 days, a couple days faster than I expected, which was awesome.



Just for this, and because their site is pretty user friendly, they’re my preferred merchant.

I have wanting to grow mushrooms for quite a while but I live in the desert and didn't think it was possible. MidwestGrowKits has created a variety of environmentally controlled kits that allow me the luxury of homegrown oysters and other gourmet varieties even when our home registers 22 degrees humidity year around! The prices are very reasonable. I know because I priced all the items in the kits separately and the kits offer a large discount. There is no way I could buy all the parts separately for the same price. I am thankful that MGK has put these custom kits together, with much thought and creativity (and with clear directions) for beginning mycologists! I am so excited to be able to do this. I sincerely recommend this company.
