      This kit is a great value and includes everything you need except for the plastic tub. To buy all the parts and pieces from a retail store would total way more than the price of this kit. I added a window to the top (plastic tub bottom) to make it easier to see what I'm doing, so I ended up buying a small acrylic panel, some silicone and some nuts and bolts in addition to the kit.

      Easy to put together at home and very professional kit. Did mess up first try due to cracking the container while making the arm holes. If using a drill, first cover cut areas with masking tape then run drill in reverse. It's plenty to cut the holes, forward seems to grab too hard.

      This is an effective tool for beginning mycologists, especially when laminar flow hoods are exponentially more expensive. This gives you a good shot at avoiding contamination, assuming you're keeping all your items as clean as possible.

      The gloves are long, but don't cut them until you've tried them out in your choice of box. You won't know if you can reach every possible angle until you've given them a run through. (Learn from my mistake!) You can easily unscrew the clamps and pull them off if you need to shorten the gloves.
