I’ve done the “Do It Yourself” types of tek found on UTube, and it does look so easy, but I must be the queen of contamination or leggy mushrooms. I realized if I could do something with less moving parts, and something manure based, I might have better results AND save money. I used 4ccs left from a previous year, and wasn’t expecting a miracle, but I got one. Less than a week in I have nice mycelium growth. Don’t waste money on a bunch of products, especially on your maiden voyage. Go for this all-in-one grow bag made by pros at this science. Better spend a few extra dollars up front, than reap, as I have, the sorry results of Uncle Ben Tek, and homemade CVG tek.

I found it easy to inoculate and get mycelium started. Lions mane worked well and the liquid culture was growing within 2 days
