Picked this up on a whim, I am on day 4 of expanding one of my favorite strains and this is getting interesting! I have never seen mycelium act this way. So far so good! I am seeing way much more mycelium in only 4 days versus a standard stir plate. I will update at day 7!

Scraped a bit of mycelium off agar and stuck it in. It was rhizo so it was a bit sickly looking at first but following all instructions I was rewarded with very healthy culture! Ingenious, great job team.

This method of infusing air into LC to improve its health is a time tested process that used to be overwhelming for hobby and people learning about mycology. The biggest problem being that most students or hobby mushroom enthusiasts do not have access to a lab grade sterile environment for prep. It's a great ready to go product that has excellent instructions and makes the seemingly complex process of professional air infusion simple and contamination free! Highly recommend for people new to mycology as a proper liquid culture GREATLY increases the probability of a successful first attempt!



As noted in the instructions the pump in the complete kit provided can easily power multiple infusions. I currently am using a standard aquarium four way splitter to infuse four jars of LC at 500ml each.
