I have only recently become a growing enthusiast... And was thrilled after my first flush! Then, things slowed down.... My 'growing conditions' are limited in area... And it occurred that I may not be getting enough warmth to the base...

I ordered this, and my 'tub' is suddenly flushing everywhere!

I was concerned about potential fire hazard or hot spots prior to this purchase, but fear not it works like a charm!! I have it sandwiched in between a towel and a pillow case so the bottom of the bags doesn't get to hot but with my jars I just used it straight. It keeps the temperature consistent especially if you couple it with the heat controller, it works flawlessly and is so much easier than the aquarium heater/water set up. So happy!!

Works great! Has a very thin, flat profile that is perfect for placing under a plastic tub, way better that the reptile terrarium heaters I was using. Recommend you place a towel between the mat and the tub, it will provide more insulation and more even heat.
