Silica gel drying canisters keep dried mushrooms from picking up moisture in storage. Drop a few into a bag, jar or container and the 2g of silica gel in each vented canister soaks up humidity to help prevent mold. They can also finish an almost-dry batch: seal a handful in the bag and it's typically cracker-dry within about 24 hours.
