I have never seen this type before and thought I would try instead, for a little extra money you can really easily re-use these! They are very thick and have a completely different feel, as if they are unbreakable. The clarity is slightly more opaque but you can still see everything perfectly fine. I like the fact that I can sterilize them in a spawn bag and re-use if I want to.

1st time ever making agar and using petri dishes. These are nice and thick plastic petri dishes. Clear and I can see all the mycelium growing very easily

I love the fact that I never have to buy petri dishes again! I throw my spent plates in the Dishwasher, then in my Presto Pressure cooker for 20 mins and they are like new! Zero contam!
