Our CO2 Boost Bags use a strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting for 10 months! This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 9 months! On the 10th month you will start to see mushrooms slowly grow. You can then cut the top of the bag off and enjoy the mushrooms! The self-activated bag takes 60 seconds to start. When ready to use, simply extend the bag and mix the colonized grain with the soil and the process begins! We use a proprietary strain of mushroom that emits high levels of Co2 but will not produce mushrooms for a long time! This gives you 9-11 months of Co2 for your plants! In a small area, you will see the difference in a week! On the 10th month you will start to see mushrooms slowly grow. You can then cut the top of the bag off and enjoy the mushrooms! Plants uses energy from light to synthesize or make their own food source. Many times people think they are feeding their plants by putting it in soil, watering it, and or placing the plant in sun, but none of the three actions are actually considered food for the plants. Plants uses sunlight, water, and the gases in the air to make sugar (glucose) that the plant needs to survive. Plants that grows indoor under artificial lighting often lack CO2 (carbon dioxide) to efficiently photosynthesize. The process of photosynthesis in plants uses a series of steps and reactions that uses sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to make organic compounds and oxygen.

Studies have shown that adding CO2 can increase yields by 30% and cut down harvest times by 18%! These bags work for all types of plants and can bring dying plants back to life. In our lab tests, we used a 5x5' mylar grow tent with 2 plants and each bag boosted the Co2 by 600-800 PPM.

Was skeptical! Added this to my 5x5 grow tent and within 10 days there is a distinct darker green color to my leaves and I am able to add more light without burn! Pretty cool!

Been buying Exhale bags for years for my Green medical grow room. I happened to stumble upon these while buying mushroom supplies for my latest hobby and decided to pick one up. I can say these work exactly the same as Exhale but I am super stoked for harvesting some shrooms later as well. I would not buy these for the sole purpose of growing mushrooms bc they take forever but if you have plants too, this is a great and easy "Set it and forget it" product. I would recommend buying 2. I always noticed the best results from using 2.

Works, Co2 meter reads 300 points higher with 1 bag, adding a 2nd gave me 650 ppm increase in my 5x5. Similar to other Co2 bags ive bought in the past. Really cool that they actually produce mushrooms, I dont think they will, but hey prove me wrong!

Cons:

Activated my bag in a few minutes and it started colonizing inside within a few days. The bag slowly expanded and puffed out after about a week to 10 days. It appears to be moving along pretty well. I currently have it in my sun room where I have 10 different plants. I bought this mainly for myself and a fun project to try and I am very excited about the mushrooms that they say will grow down the road. Hopefully my plants enjoy a little extra Co2 in the meantime! Will update new review if I see any difference in my plants in a few weeks.
