Came with battery installed, but even after a month it still is going strong. The LR44 batteries are super cheap to replace so I bought some at the dollar store to use when the display starts going dim, but so far so good!
I bought this hygrometer/thermometer as an add on to the small mono tub kit. This kit is perfect for my use, as I am just starting this hobby to grow some gourmet mushrooms that have recently become popular, like lions mane, and shiitake, to name a few... Shipping was fast and everything arrived as described and in perfect condition... I am still waiting for my grain bag to colonize so I have not yet set up the mono tub, but it's perfect size for my small needs!
