(Limited Stock) Amanita muscaria is instantly recognizable with it's bright red cap and white spots. It is most famously known for being the Super Mushroom seen in the Super Mario Bros video games and also depicted in the popular children's story, Alice in Wonderland. This mushroom can also be reddish orange with yellowish/white spots or even yellow with white spots. The Fly Agaric has been used in many cultures for hundreds of years and is known for it psychoactive properties. This strain can be started indoors on many types of grains, but will need to be transferred outdoors to fruit in most cases. Indoor cultivation is possible but considered challenging. Please note that this is "technically" a poisonous mushroom and can result in adverse reactions if not properly and carefully prepared.

Colonized my grain spawn quickly and incoulated a 2'x3' area under my pine tree in a bed in my yard and just looked today and I can see little pins! This process takes awhile but I am coming back here 6 months later to post this!

I decided to attempt to grow this mushroom just for the challenge. I know they say these don't grow well indoors but so far so good with my experiment. You can start these in any grain jar or bag, but the real challenge is fruiting them! I followed this blog and I am really close! https://cosmyic.com/blogs/news/how-to-grow-amanita-muscaria

The tub I mixed in pine shavings into the Select bulk casing mix and seems to be doing much better then the one without. I have some pins forming but I am not counting my chickens yet! For anyone looking for a challenge, this legal mushroom is pretty cool!
